Rainbow Six Seige revolves around two teams attacking and defending a hostage environment, with a whole host of abilities and gadgets designed to fulfil certain roles. Send out a remote-controlled drone to get intel on where the hostages are situated within the house, then rappel in from the roof or smash through a window.

Realism is the name of the game, with players going down in one or two shots and environments being almost fully destructible. While the maps are small, they are some of the most detailed and balanced designs found in multiplayer gaming. So, if you're after strategy and team-based tactics, this stands head and shoulders above the crowd.

Made by the creators of the Borderlands series, Tiny Tina's Wonderland features one of the most popular characters from the franchise. The titular Tiny Tina narrates a wacky and wild Dungeons & Dragons-like campaign for between one to four players.

The premise is ingenious and the unique gunplay is fantastic. That said, if you're not a fan of zany, random, fantasy-inspired humour you'll absolutely hate this game. It's a niche title, but fans of old-school RPGs and the Borderlands series are sure to fall in love with it. 

Since the first title launched back in 2009, the Borderlands series has offered some of the best looter shooter experiences in all of gaming. The randomised weaponry means you'll never know exactly what you're going to get, and the thrill of trying out a new gun is absolutely fantastic!

While this is the most up-to-date Borderlands game, with the best gunplay and weaponry, the writing isn't quite up to the same standards as previous entries. If you're a big fan of the humour and wackiness of the Borderlands titles you'll enjoy it, but it can be a little cringe-worthy at times.

Call of Duty: Vanguard sees you take control of Task Force Vanguard, one of the first special forces created at the tail end of World War Two. The campaign sees you jump around in time to various points in WW2, while the multiplayer is fun and frantic with a tactical edge.

At the end of the day, it's another Call of Duty game and at this point, the yearly releases have begun to show the formula has gotten a little stale. Still, if you're a big fan of the franchise, you're likely to enjoy the latest entry and the second world war campaign.

If you're a fan of science fiction and progression-based gaming, then Destiny 2 will be right up your street. As an immortal guardian blessed by the light, you'll travel to strange new worlds to fight monsters and aliens, upgrading your guns and armour as you go.

Fans of Warhammer 40k, space operas, or MMORPGs like World of Warcraft will be right at home, but for even experienced FPS players Destiny 2 can be quite obtuse. However, if you're happy to stick with it and learn all its systems, game modes, expansion packs, and season passes, you're in for an incredible time. 

Overwatch has a level of fun and polis in its gameworld that's usually reserved for Disney Pixar films, making it a great choice for younger players. The large cast of characters, all with their own unique abilities and personalities, makes for an extremely enjoyable time.

While Overwatch is a fantastic game that's perfect for children, it can be a little confusing to play. Not to mention, you are heavily reliant on your teammates. It's also worth noting that Overwatch 2 is just around the corner, so this is well worth trying out before it releases!
