10 Best Artificial Grass for the Garden UK 2022 | Authentic Look and Feel, Mould Resistant and More

With a 40 mm pile height made with three shades of grass, this artificial lawn provides a nice bouncy, authentic look. It also ticks all the boxes in terms of UV treatment and drainage. A great all-rounder suitable for any type of garden.

Next on our list is a similar product from Tuda Grass Direct, only this one has a pile height of 35 mm. A slightly lower pile height is great for those whose grass might see a bit more activity. If you have pets or children running around and playing on the lawn, this will be much easier to clean.

As for the other specs, the grass is dense, weighty, UV-stabilised and features three different colours of blades, so it's an excellent choice if you're looking to replicate an authentic grassy vibe. It is a bit cheaper than the above option, so weigh up whether you think you'll be needing the extra 5 mm of height.

EverGrass are another excellent brand of artificial grass manufacturers, and here, we've got one of their best offerings. If you frequently have children or pets using your lawn, this is a great option, as the pile height is only 20 mm tall. 

This makes it easy to clean and much easier to play sports and garden games. The grass also features four different colours of blades, meaning it's probably the most authentic-looking out of all of our choices.

If you're looking for something in between, this option from Tuda Grass Direct could be just the ticket. It's got a pile height of 30 mm, making it suitable for frequent family or larger household use, but it's still high enough to provide a nice, luxury feel. 

This product features all the essentials such as drainage, UV stability and three different colours of blades. Plus, for the dimensions provided, this is a pretty good price, making it a great all-rounder. 

The next option is from Grass Warehouse, a company with a wide range of artificial grasses, and we've chosen their 30 mm Galileo product. The main thing we love about this grass is that the blades come in 3 different shades of green, plus it has a brown thatch which makes it look as authentic as it can without it actually being real!

This grass is also made to match the exact size you require in meters, feet or centimetres so you can rest assured that none will go to waste. It's also been UV stabilized and comes with proper drainage. An excellent all-rounder for any type of garden or lawn. 

While Ark Mat might not have as many reviews as more popular brands like Tuda Grass Direct, the ones they do have are excellent. The grass features four different colours, which provide a nice, authentic look, and the pile height is 35 mm, which is great for a luxury, bouncy feel to your lawn. 

The only issue we have with this product is the slight lack of information. The description doesn't explicitly say anything about the density or the drainage, but at such a low price, you can't really complain!

While this option might initially seem to have an extortionate price, the amount of grass you get is pretty high: it's 13 x 23 ft. It is, however, still on the upper end of the pay scale, especially when considering there are only 2 colours of grass included.

Nonetheless, the pile height is a nice balance between bouncy and easy to maintain and features drainage holes and UV stabilised blades. Unfortunately, though, there is no indication of the density of the grass, so it's a bit of a gamble – and an expensive one at that.

If you're looking for a nice in-between option, this product from B&Q is an excellent choice. One parcel comes with four meters squared, which is a considerable amount compared to some of our other options. The product also features drainage holes and has a UV coating. 

With a pile height of 22 mm, this is a great choice for anyone who wants to keep their garden tidy but also wants it to feel luxurious underfoot, as it works just as well as a surface for games as it does just looking pretty. Unfortunately, there is no indication of how many colours are included or the density, so it is a bit of a gamble.

If you tend to make your purchase decisions from reviews alone, this option from 247Floors will certainly appeal to you. Amazon has received over 400 glowing customer reports for this product, so you can be pretty safe knowing you've made a great choice.

If you're looking for specs, though, this one is unfortunately lacking. The descriptions feature no mention whatsoever of the number of colours, weight or density, and it's unclear whether the grass has been UV stabilised. That said, with this many positive reviews, it can't be that bad!

To finish off our list, we've got this product from Oypla. It has a decent 17 mm pile height which is great for keeping your garden clean and tidy, plus it features drainage holes. One of the best things about this one though is the price – it's an absolute bargain! 

However, as with many bargain choices, there is a bit of a risk involved. The company don't provide any information regarding the actual density of the grass, so it could be a little sparse. We also don't know if it's been UV stabilized. However, you could always order one and check it through before you purchase more to fill your outside space.
